We’re very happy to say we’ve done a complete rework of our Python API.

This consortium successfully answered a call for a R&D project launched by France and its regions with the Project IDIOM that has been selected and has thus been granted necessary funding.

This release features enhanced compression and better docker support. We also greatly improved the flexibility of range specification, enabling you to express complex ranges such as “give me all the Fridays between 10:00 am and 10:15 am” very easily.

The more flexible and convenient the access to market data is, the better the analysts can work. Hedge funds and investment banks typically store very large amounts of trades and market data (sometimes several petabytes), which makes gaining access very difficult, if not impossible.

This release features an official R API as well as Grafana support. Many improvements to the query language have been done as well with built-in Gregorian calendar support and more WHERE clauses operators.

In 2.5.0 we pushed the limits of compression even further, without any impact on speed! We also increased the flexibility and power of WHERE clauses. We’re also very happy to say that we now have an ARM64 build available upon request.
